Yesterday I had a Dubbel, and today I tried the Tripel from Allagash. Tomorrow I'll have the Quad.
Service type: 750ml bottle.
Style: Belgian Tripel Ale, 9.00% ABV.
Appearance: Hazy golden pour with a medium bodied white head with no lacing.
Aroma: Spicy citrus with honey and belgian yeast.
Taste: Definitiely follows aroma. Very crisp and fresh lemony finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with little carbonation.
Overall: I definitelly liked this one better than the Dubbel... I'm really excited about tomorrow's Quad. If Allagash is putting more and more thought and detail the more times they ferment their beer it should be a glad experience.
