Amish Four Grain Pale Ale

I got this beer as a present and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot.

Service type: 375ml on glass.

Style: American Pale Ale, 5.0% ABV.

Appearance: dark copperish red, with a very thick white/yellowish and very flavorful head. It took some time for it to recede leaving lacing behind.

Aroma: grain and pale malts with a litttle hops. Canted to the sweeter side, almost as caramel.

Flavor: following the aroma, sweet on the tongue with very balanced hop aftertaste. No lingering alcohol.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied with slight carbonation.

Overall: very nice sweet pale ale and easy to drink, I'd never seen it before but I'll definitely look for it at the shop.

Style: Maibock/Helles Bock, 6.50% ABV.

Xingu Black Beer

Being a Guinness lover I expected something similar in this Brazilian Offer, I know they're not even the same style, but still... Nothing could be more different... I've had Lagers more similar to Guinness than this one... This is much more like a no-bodied Lager you'd have at the beach with a lime on top to make it better... 

Service type: 375ml bottle on glass.
Style:  Schwarzbier, 4.7% ABV.

Appearance: black with abundant reddish black head that receded in no time with some lacing.

Aroma: sweet warm roasted malts, some coffee in the background, although I think I was looking for it..

Taste: pretty bland taste, nothing jumped on its own, except a bittery taste by the finish. No alcohol at all...

Mouthfeel: super light bodied, almost like water. Almost no carbonation at all either. Goes down easily.

Overall: it's good to experiment, and I've fulfilled my duty of trying a new beer today! So I'm happy...
