I love Blue Moon, and love when breweries I love put out their seasonal beers.
Service type: 375ml bottle on tall glass.
Style: Dubbel, 5.6% ABV.
Appearance: Dark brown with hints of copper, light bodied burnt-copperish head that leaved little to no lacing after receding quickly. Clear.
Aroma: very sweet caramel and toffee notes. Some yeasts are perceptive as well some grassy notes.
Taste: very rich and sweet opening the way for toasted notes. Caramel in the aftertaste and almost no alcohol feeling.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very pleasant to drink.
Overall: I could drink this all winter as an everyday easy to drink beer.
