It's day 17 of 2012, and so far, so good... I've managed to try a new beer every every day. It's been harder than I thought though and last week, being my birthday and all, I had a hard time finding the time to write about it.
Today I'm drinking a Triple Voodoo Inception Belgian style Tripel from San Francisco.
Serving type: 750ml bottle.
Style: Belgian Style Tripel, 8.0% ABV.
Appearance: Hazy golden copper in color, with a light bodied whitish head that receded almost instantly with no lacing.
Aroma: lots of caramel and piny and grassy hops.
Taste: although the nose would say sweet and it starts with caramel, the bitterness of the hops quickly take over. No alcohol flavor at all.
Mouthfeel: very soft carbonation, medium bodied, almost syrupy like.
Overall: a good local tripel but there are others out there I'd prefer over this one.
